If you haven’t figured it out yet, I tend to do MOST of my photography at night – don’t ask and I won’t tell. Throughout my “practice shoots” I’ve found myself locked into ISO 800 – it simply works the best with my flash (Bower SFD926C). I will not try to speak the math or the details around ISO 800, but what I will do is to tell you that if you are using an entry level professional camera like my T4i – ISO 800 or 800 ISO (to-may-toe. to-mah-toe) is that place where you get enough light (with a flash) and near zero grain. THAT for me makes all the difference!
